Moving Brands. Motion Design as an element of Corporate Identity.
In a digital era, dominated by moving pictures, the relevance of flexible, dynamic design systems, with a prospective focus on the field of corporate motion – far from classic commercials – increases. With the increasing trend of time-based media, motion design gains in relevance as an essential element of the corporate identity – and hence in the fields of brand communication, respectively design.
The thesis debates the relevance of the discipline of motion design in the range of visual brand design. It deals with the communication of brand values by means of motion design, as well as with the integration of corporate motion into a holistic visual system. Based on the discussed issues from the theoretical part, the practical piece of work of a visual identity for "issyrey studio", which integrates motion as an essential element, has been created.
